Online submission of Freedom of Information Act requests:

The U.S. Agency for International Development is pleased to accept electronic Freedom of Information Act request through our Public Access Link (PAL).  To submit a FOIA request, you must select, complete and submit the registration form on the left of the screen. 
FOIA request submitted by e-mail, fax and mail are still accepted. 

Read this before creating your account: If you have already created an account, do not create another one. Duplicate accounts will be deleted. If you need to change information in your account, sign into the system and click on the "My Account" link.

PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT: This information is being collected under the authority of the Privacy Act of 1974, 5 U.S.C. 552a and the Freedom of Information Act Title 5 U.S.C. § 552 as amended by the Open Government Act of 2007. The purpose of this collection is to allow the public to electronically submit and track the status of Freedom of Information Act requests. Furnishing the information to create your account is voluntary, but failure to do so will limit you to the “check status” capability only. Personal information will not be distributed to outside entities.
